NY Arts Magazine Gives Some Shine

"My art has been published!
I was contacted by an editor at NY Arts Magazine in October of last year. She asked me to submit a selection of photos. She would choose one and give me a page with that and my artists statement in an upcoming issue of their print magazine as well as a page online.

I was pretty excited.

The editor told me she saw my work on an erotic art aggregator/blog called ponyXpress — a fantastic resource for high quality art, ideas, inspiration, and gorgeous nude people — about which I had remarked the previous day to a friend. I knew ponyXpress had featured some of the work I’d posted on Flickr twice already and was wondering if anything would come of it.

Coincidence?

I wrote and rewrote my statement going from a sarcastic version that bared my contempt for the typical pseudo-intellectual artist statement, to a plain-spoken description of my artistic process and goals."

Congratulations, Jeff. Needless to say, or maybe it does need to be said, hopefully more exposure is on the way.
